The Continuing Agricultural Education Center(CAEC) has hosted 14 participants from Zombo and Lamwo District Local Governments training them on soil kit use and sustainable land management starting from 30/10/2018 to 02/11/2018  basically with the module objectives of;

  • Understanding the soil fertililty status in Uganda and its implication on agricultural production.
  • Diadnose soil based nutrient deficiencies and toxicities commonly found in crops.
  • Equipped to address the soils problems commonly experienced in the field.
  • Skilled to implement sustainable land management.

The workshop is being facilitated by prof. Moses Tenywa and the service providers are Public-Private-Partnership between AGINSBA and Makerere University.
